KAWAN FOOD HUB
A Kindness-based food sharing initiative by Kawan Community. We collect edible food and essentials, reduce waste, and redistribute them to people in need while promoting awareness of sustainable living and empathy for others.
Purpose
The Food Hub exists not just to give, but to connect, sustain, and educate.
Goals
To reduce food waste by redirecting surplus food to those who need it.
To support communities facing food insecurity with dignity and respect.
To educate the public on sustainable consumption and responsible giving aligned with SDGs principles.
To create a culture of kindness, where sharing food becomes a movement, not just an event.
